Senior Business Analyst

Location: Birmingham (Hybrid Working) Contract: Initial 6-Month ContractHays are working in partnership with a local authority to recruit a Senior Business Analyst to support a range of transformation initiatives across SEND, Education, and Children''s Services. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering meaningful change that improves outcomes for children, young people, and families.As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding and analysing user and business needs, translating these requirements into strategic transformation objectives, and supporting the delivery of complex programmes and projects across the organisation.You will work closely with stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams, and service areas to identify opportunities for improvement, enhance service delivery, and contribute to the Council''s wider digital transformation agenda.Key ResponsibilitiesLead business analysis activities across complex, high-profile, and interdependent programmes and projects.Engage with stakeholders across SEND, Education, Children''s Services, and wider Council departments to understand challenges and requirements.Analyse and articulate user needs, ensuring they are translated into clear business outcomes and transformation objectives.Create research and analysis plans to support service improvement and product development.Develop business processes, service maps, customer journeys, and scenarios to test and redesign services ..... full job details .....
