This established building surveying and design consultancy specialises in refurbishments, dilapidations and surveys across a range of traditional and listed buildings, including cottages, pubs and heritage assets. With a strong local reputation and a steady pipeline of work, the business prides itself on delivering high-quality services while maintaining a friendly and flexible working culture.
In this role, you will manage a variety of projects from initial instruction through to completion, carrying out Level 2 and Level 3 surveys, preparing schedules of condition and overseeing refurbishment works. You will play a key role in supporting the existing workload while building towards a more senior position within the business.
With that, the ideal candidate will be an experienced Building Surveyor who is confident working independently, with strong technical knowledge and a keen interest in traditional or listed buildings.

The Role:
- Managing a range of building surveying projects from start to finish
- Carrying out Level 2 and Level 3 surveys
- Preparing schedules of condition and dilapidations reports
- Overseeing refurbishment and repair projects
- Working across office, site and home environments
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery
The Person:
- Proven experience as a Building Surveyor
- Strong technical knowledge including surveys and building regulations
- Able to work independently and manage projects
- RICS or Associate RICS qualified
- Interest or experience in listed or historic buildings desirable
- Strong communication and organisational skills
