Senior Building Surveyor

A well-established, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy are looking to appoint an ambitious Senior Building Surveyor to join their London team.

The Senior Building Surveyors Role

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will join an established Building Surveying team, working across a varied portfolio of residential and public-sector projects throughout London and the South East.

The consultancy has a particularly strong presence within the housing sector, working with local authorities, housing associations and other residential clients across refurbishment, maintenance, remediation and regeneration projects.

A key element of the role will be involvement in fire remediation and cladding projects, including the investigation, specification and delivery of remedial works to residential buildings.

As Senior Building Surveyor, you''ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects from initial inspection and feasibility through to specification, procurement and contract administration, while working closely with clients.

You''ll also have the opportunity to work across the wider Building Surveying service, providing exposure to a broad range of instructions and project types.

This role would suit an ambitious Senior Building Surveyor who is confident working independently, enjoys a client-facing environment and is keen to develop their career within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary consultancy.

The Senior Building Surveyors Requirements

• Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• MRICS qualified or working towards chartership
• Strong Building Surveying experience within a consultancy environment
• Residential experience is highly desirable
• Experience across fire remediation, cladding or building safety would be highly beneficial
• Confident managing client relationships and working in client-facing environments
• Comfortable managing projects and workload independently
• Hard-working, commercially aware and organised
• Strong team player with a collaborative approach
