Senior Building Surveyor

Senior Building Surveyor - London Our client, a well established building consultancy within the property services sector, is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their London team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead technical and project based work across a diverse residential and commercial portfolio. Key responsibilities: Undertake technical due diligence, condition surveys, and defect analysis across a variety of building types. Lead refurbishment, restoration or conversion projects from inception through to completion, including contract administration. Prepare detailed specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation, and provide clear, strategic advice aligned with commercial objectives. Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning, health and safety and retrofit standards. Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to business development activities. What we''re looking for: Chartered or near chartered surveyor (MRICS/MCIOB) with strong building surveying pathway experience. Demonstrable track record of surveying and project managing schemes, especially in the residential sector (heritage or listed property experience advantageous) Excellent technical expertise in building pathology, construction methodology, statutory compliance and commercial awareness.
