Senior Building Surveyor

Our client, a well established building consultancy within the property services sector, is seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join their London team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead technical and project based work across a diverse residential and commercial portfolio.Key responsibilities:- Undertake technical due diligence, condition surveys, and defect analysis across a variety of building types.- Lead refurbishment, restoration or conversion projects from inception through to completion, including contract administration.- Prepare detailed specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation, and provide clear, strategic advice aligned with commercial objectives.- Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning, health and safety and retrofit standards.- Mentor junior surveyors and contribute to business development activities.What we''re looking for:- Chartered or near chartered surveyor (MRICS/MCIOB) with strong building surveying pathway experience.- Demonstrable track record of surveying and project managing schemes, especially in the residential sector (heritage or listed property experience advantageous)- Excellent technical expertise in building pathology, construction methodology, statutory compliance and commercial awareness.- Strong communication skills, ability to present complex technical information clearly, and a proactive approach to managing varied workloads.Why join?A high profile role within a ..... full job details .....
