Senior Building SurveyorSt Austell, CornwallUp to £60,000 per annum excellent benefitsPermanent Full-timeBuild Recruitment are currently working with a well-established property and construction consultancy who are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join their St Austell team.This is a key opportunity for an ambitious Building Surveyor who is looking for increased responsibility, autonomy and the opportunity to help develop a local Building Surveying function.Working alongside a Director, you will manage a varied portfolio of projects and professional instructions across Cornwall, covering everything from historic buildings and defect diagnosis through to commercial projects and contract administration.The RoleYou will be responsible for a diverse range of building surveying and project-based work, including:Leading the inception, design and delivery of construction projects.Undertaking building surveys, condition reports and defect investigations.Acting as Contract Administrator and/or Employer''s Agent.Managing projects from tender through to completion and final account.Providing professional advice on dilapidations, party wall matters and planned maintenance.Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact.Taking a lead role in the local Building Surveying function.Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.Contributing to the continued growth and development of the regional business.About YouThe successful ..... full job details .....
