Senior Building Control SurveyorLocation: Blackpool (Talbot Gateway / Hybrid) Rate: 23.69 per hour - subject to negotiation Hours: 37 per week Status: Minimum Class 2E Registration RequiredTHE MANDATORIES (Do not apply without these)If you do not meet the following criteria, your application will be flagged and dismissed immediately:BSR Registration: Minimum Class 2E (Assessment and Inspection).Professional Membership: Full MCABE, MRICS, or MCIOB status.Experience: Minimum 5 years in Building Control.Logistics: Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.Day to day role:Manage a caseload of domestic and general non-domestic projects taking enforcement action as necessaryConduct site inspections, liaise with relevant organisations and consultees.Undertake site inspections in relation to dangerous structures and instruct necessary remedial actions where necessaryPreparation of case files for enforcement or other legal action to maintain compliance with Building Regulations and the Building Act 1984Required Skills and Qualifications:Registered with Building Safety Regulator as minimum Class 2E (Assessment and Inspection)Full membership in CABE, RICS or MCIOBMinimum of 5 years'' experience in the building control sectorDetailed knowledge of building construction and excellent knowledge of Building Regulations.Full driving licence and access to a ..... full job details .....
