Bridges and civil structures design across a range of project types and scales, including rail, highway and pedestrian bridges; underground and overground rail stations; deep retaining structures and renewable energy infrastructure.All stages of projects from feasibility studies, scheme and detailed designs, construction phase technical support and advising on the long-term management of structures.Project Manager responsible for the design delivery within a multi-disciplinary environment, Client facing role, responsible for reporting the technical and financial performance of projects.Managing multi-disciplinary teams in the production of drawings, reports, risk registers and specifications.Supporting bids on multi-disciplinary projects including the preparation of tender quality submissions, reviewing contractual documents and preparing financial submissions.Contributing to the development and application of best practice within the group and supporting the Global Skills Network initiatives.Assistance in the achievement of the business objectives.Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff, acting as a Delegated Engineer and Supervising Civil Engineer to our graduates.Requirements and skills

Degree qualified with chartered professional status. Strong technical skills in the design of deep retaining and buried structuresStrong technical skills in rail civil structures, including overground and underground station designStrong technical skills in bridge design and assessment. Strong digital skills and knowledge of sustainability best practiceStrong communication skillsProven commercial and contractual roles on projectsA team playerBe able to design and deliver civil structural engineering solutions on complex projects. Experience of leading teams on multi-disciplinary projectsAble to develop successful client relationshipsAn ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
