The role involves leading the design, assessment and maintenance of bridge and civil structures, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and assessment of rail bridges and associated structures. Produce and review calculations, technical reports, specifications and drawings. Undertake structural inspections, assessments and refurbishment studies. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers. Support project delivery, including programme, budget and quality requirements. Attend client, design and stakeholder meetings as required.
