Senior Branch and Restricted Funds Accountant
We are looking for a Senior Branch and Restricted Funds Accountant to join our fantastic Financial Accounts team for a two year fixed period covering internal secondment. Here at RBL we have 2,000 Branches and 50 Membership regions. This position plays a key role in our wider Branch Accounts team in maintaining accurate records for these Branch, Trust and County funds, producing accurate financial and improving financial controls. You will maintain and control our portfolio of restricted funds, ensuring that our organisation complies with charity and trust law and you will advise on appropriate policies for the recording and expenditure of restricted funds, ensuring restricted funds are maximised in support of our charitable objectives. Reporting to our Financial Accountant - Branch and Restricted Funds Manager, key responsibilities will include: - Ensuring that Branch Fund Initiative (BFI), Branch Property Trust BFI and Legacy accounts are properly administered and maintained - Oversee the recording of income and expenditure in relation to RBL''s restricted funds, and in particular, Branch Property Trusts, legacy trusts and restricted donations - Maintain a record of all restricted funds including relevant narrative information on the history of the funds and the specific restrictions applicable to each fund while ..... full job details .....
