Senior Bookkeeper Business Services Manager - Accountancy Practice Central London £40,000 - £50,000+ DOE Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting a leading specialist accountancy firm in the recruitment of a Senior Bookkeeper or Business Services Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a globally recognised firm specialising in the entertainment, media, sport and creative industries. Working with an impressive portfolio of high-profile clients, you will manage your own client portfolio while delivering high-quality bookkeeping, VAT and business management services within a collaborative and supportive team. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients across the entertainment, media, sport and creative sectors Prepare bookkeeping records and process VAT returns for a varied client base Liaise directly with clients, agents, managers and other professional advisers Reconcile agency statements and assist with withholding tax (WHT) matters Process payrolls where applicable (experience beneficial) Ensure clients receive a proactive, confidential and high-quality service Support and review junior team members as the role develops Key Requirements Minimum 5 years experience within an accountancy practice in a bookkeeping or business services role Strong bookkeeping and VAT experience Experience using Xero (Sage experience also beneficial) Knowledge of UK VAT and PAYE, with WHT experience advantageous Excellent communication skills with the ..... full job details .....
