Description

As the Senior Bookkeeper, your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including reconciliations and ledger management.
• Prepare and review financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage receivable processes efficiently.
• Ensure all financial records are maintained in line with current regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries.
• Provide support during audits and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.

Profile

A successful Senior Bookkeeper should have:

• A strong foundation in bookkeeping and financial record management.
• Familiarity with Xero accounting software and financial reporting tools.
• An understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Previous experience in the business services industry is advantageous.
