Senior BIM Technician with IT Infrastructure modeling experience

Senior BIM Technicianc. London£70 - £75,000BenchIT now seek the support of a highly-skilled, senior BIM technician to support the CAD, design and project teams across BIM design activity. This role requires solid experience in MEP project environments and ideally knowledge of IT infrastructure within data centre and enterprise environments.You will create, modify and coordinate 3D models using BIM software including Revit and Navisworks - working from 2D drawings and working closely with other trade services, delivering highly accurate and coordinated models.Key responsibilities:Create and modify 3D models using BIM software such as Revit and Navisworks.Model components from 2D drawings, producing coordinated models, aligning closely with other trade services.Populate models with all essential annotation data, ensuring components are correctly tagged.Use Navisworks to identify and resolve clashes between disciplines.Understand and work in line with BIM Execution Plans.Attend coordination meetings and raise any issues or concerns with the project team.Produce 2D drawings on relevant sheets for use in AutoCAD.Key skills:Strong working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.Experience working within a construction environment and collaborating with stakeholders and other professional trades.Strong understanding of industry standards and technical design requirements.Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Project, Visio and PowerPoint.CSCS ..... full job details .....
