Senior BIM Coordinator - MEP/Data Centres

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior BIM Coordinator to join a specialist Building Services team delivery technically complex data centre project.

The role will have a strong focus on MEP coordination and Revit, supporting the development and coordination of detailed building services models across major project. With a mixture of prefabricated and traditional M&E coordination involved, this would particularly suit someone who understands how BIM can support efficient design, manufacture and installation.

This is a permanent position offering -60,00080,000, with hybrid working from the Colchester office.

The Role

You''ll be involved in:

• Leading and supporting BIM coordination across MEP projects
• Developing and managing coordinated Building Services models in Revit
• Coordinating mechanical and electrical services within complex projects environments
• Identifying and resolving clashes and design coordination issues
• Supporting the developed of prefabricated MEP solutions
• Working closely with design, engineering and project delivery teams
• Reviewing models and maintaining high standards of BIM information
• Supporting coordination between design and installation requirements
• Contributing to efficient and buildable project solutions
• Providing senior-level BIM and coordination input throughout project delivery

What They''re Looking For

• Strong experience as a BIM Coordinator/Senior BIM Coordinator within Building Services
• Revit experience is essential
• Strong MEP coordination capability
• Experience working with detailed Building Services models
• Good understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to identify and resolve complex coordination issues
• Good communication and collaborative working skills
• Experience within technically complex project environments

An understanding of DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly) and fabrication processes would be highly beneficial.

Previous experience across data centre or other technically complex MEP projects would also be advantageous.
