Senior Bid Manager

About The Role

End-to-End Bid OwnershipLead the entire bid process from kick-off and team mobilisation to submission, presentation, and post-submission review. Manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment throughout the bid lifecycle. Full end-to-end bid ownership from kick-off and pursuit team coordination to writing, submission, and presentation stages.Responsibilities

Coordinate across Sales, Solutions, Commercials, Operations, and Subject Matter Experts to ensure cohesive, high-quality proposals.Govern sales involvement, enforcing agreed roles and responsibilities across teams.Act as the central point of accountability for major deals, including complex global programmes.Create visually compelling documents and presentations in PowerPoint that bring our solutions to life.Apply innovative approaches to storytelling through both content and design.Ensure all submissions align with brand standards, formatting, and tone of voice.Maintain and enrich a central content library to drive consistency and excellence in future bids.Contribute to the evolution of best practices in bid management across the organisation.Support and mentor junior team members to foster growth and capability within the team.Represent Robert Walters'' outsourcing value proposition with credibility and gravitas at all levels.Collaborate with stakeholders from Managing Directors to Account Leaders across global regions.Demonstrate sound knowledge of the operational environment, services, and client landscapes.Ideal Background and Skills

Staffing/recruitment sector experience is highly preferred6 years\'' bid management experience and sales/recruitment experience (highly preferred)Strong project management and communication skills are essentialAbility to engage with SMEs and drive bid strategy as well as deliveryExcellent communication and negotiation skillsExceptional time management and organisation skillsStrong analytical skills with attention to detailAbility to work with targets and deliver against tight deadlinesHigh self-motivation and drive for successAbility to work independently in an agile environment as well as collaborate as part of a teamBenefits
