Senior BD Executive - 12 month FTC

A leading law firm is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join its Marketing and Business Development team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, providing maternity cover. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you will support BD activity across the not-for-profit, schools, higher education and sovereign sectors. This is a varied role covering pitches, campaigns, events, directory submissions, thought leadership, market research and profile-raising. Key responsibilities Supporting sector BD plans, budgets and growth initiatives. Managing pitches, tenders and capability statements from start to finish. Planning and delivering in-person and virtual events and webinars. Coordinating Legal 500, Chambers and award submissions. Supporting thought leadership, campaigns and marketing materials. Conducting market, competitor, client and prospect research. Supporting profile-raising, sponsorship and external speaking opportunities. Working closely with partners, lawyers and senior stakeholders to deliver commercial BD activity. About you You will have strong business development and marketing experience within professional services, ideally in a law firm or similar environment. You will be: Commercially minded, proactive and delivery-focused. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Confident managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
