This isn''t a ticket-taker Back End role. You''ll own your services end-to-end - designing them, shipping them, and keeping them running in production. You''ll shape the architecture, drive key technical decisions, and have genuine autonomy to build the platform the right way.andnbsp; What you''ll be doing: Leading Back End development across event-driven, high-availability systems Owning cloud infrastructure across AWS andamp; GCP Building with Python (FastAPI or similar), Postgres, and Redis Designing clean, versioned, backwards-compatible APIs Driving CI/CD and observability for systems that can''t afford downtime during live eventsandnbsp;What we''re looking for: Hands-on experience running real production workloads on AWS - not just deploying to it Strong Postgres/SQL skills: schema design, query tuning, migrations Solid API design chops: clear contracts, versioning, backwards compatibility Python-first mindset (FastAPI or similar) Redis experience: caching patterns, invalidation, pub/sub Comfort owning and operating your own services in CI/CDandnbsp; Fully remote within the UK, with monthly in-person engineering get-togethers to keep the team connected.andnbsp; Circa £130-150K + generous perks.
