Senior Authorised Person (HV/LV Electrical Systems)An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join a highly respected organisation operating within the UK defence and engineering sector.This role offers the chance to play a pivotal part in the safe delivery of operations across complex, high-hazard environments, ensuring Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) are robust, compliant, and consistently applied.Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering and operational teams, you will provide technical leadership, support compliance initiatives, and help shape safety standards across a nationally important portfolio.The RoleAs a Senior Authorised Person, you will serve as a key subject matter expert for electrical safety and high-hazard operations, supporting site teams whilst driving continuous improvement in compliance and operational safety.You will work closely with Authorised Persons, Facilities Managers, Project Teams, and operational stakeholders to ensure all activities are delivered safely and in accordance with JSP 375 requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) improvement programmes across operational sites.Develop, maintain, and improve electrical safety standards in line with JSP 375.Provide technical guidance and support to Authorised Persons and operational teams.Assist with internal audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.Support the closure of audit findings and drive corrective actions. ..... full job details .....
