My client is seeking skilled High Voltage professionals to join a growing team delivering essential substation and network projects across the UK Distribution Network.

What You''ll Be Doing

As a Senior Authorised Person, you will play a vital role in the safe delivery of High Voltage electrical works across 11kV, 33kV and 132kV distribution networks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and carrying out High Voltage switching operations.
• Preparing and implementing switching programmes using DNO operating systems.
• Safely isolating, earthing and returning electrical equipment to service.
• Issuing Permits to Work, Sanctions for Test and Limitations of Access.
• Producing and reviewing safety documentation, risk assessments and method statements.
• Supporting the delivery of substation construction, maintenance and network upgrade projects.
• Working closely with clients, site teams and project stakeholders to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineers and operational staff.
• Ensuring all work complies with Distribution Safety Rules, company procedures and current health and safety legislation.

What You''ll Need

To be considered for this Senior Authorised Person position, you should have:

• Current SAP authorisation at 11kV, 33kV or 132kV on a UK DNO network.
• Previous experience delivering High Voltage switching within substations, commissioning or electricity distribution projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and network operations.
• Experience preparing switching schedules and outage plans.
• HNC, Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across East Anglia and surrounding areas, with regular attendance at the Stevenage office.

Salary: £60,000 - £90,000 per annum (DOE)
