The responsibilities of the Senior Auditor will be: Delivering a programme of risk-focused internal audits across a range of council services Leading audit assignments from planning and scoping through to reporting and follow-up Assessing the effectiveness of governance, risk management and internal control arrangements Engaging with senior stakeholders to agree findings and practical recommendations Providing audit advice, consultancy and supporting investigations into complex issues, irregularities or fraud where required.
