Senior / Associate Structural Engineer

Think Recruitment are currently working with a busy consultancy who are looking to recruit a Structural Engineer at Senior or Associate level.Working with a talented team of Chartered, mid-level and graduate engineers our clients Structures Division are seeking a highly motivated Engineer to support the Structures Team in their Nottingham Office. The successful candidate will have sound experience in a wide variety of Structural Engineering projects and have experienced complex and challenging structural designs from conception to completion.Working on a broad range of structural projects, this high performing team of professionals are looking for an engineer who is aspiring to be a technically excellent design engineer working on a diverse and generally challenging range of projects, incorporating bespoke new build structures, refurbishment and heritage works.To be considered for this role you will ideally have:Minimum 2:1 BSc/BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalentAt least 5 years post qualification experience in civil and structural engineeringFull UK driving license and own transportChartered or near-chartered status with a relevant body (MICE or MIStructE)Experience in surveying and refurbishmentGood structural forensic and analytical skillsExperienced in masonry, timber, steel and concrete designDetailed knowledge of structural design and detailing using all relevant UK and European codes of practiceOn a day to day basis, in this exciting role you will be ..... full job details .....
