Senior / Associate Structural Engineer

Are you an experienced Structural Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We''re seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join our client''s South Midlands team at Senior or Associate level, delivering innovative and practical design solutions across a wide range of building projects.

Our client have a strong team of technically focused Engineers delivering designs across a variety of projects and, as such, are looking for a commercially minded Structural Engineer who enjoys the management of projects, clients, design teams etc.

Leading the structural design process on projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors, this is a key opportunity to take ownership of projects, mentor junior engineers, and play an active role in the continued growth of our practice.

• Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects in a variety of sectors

• Produce and check calculations, drawings, and specifications in line with current codes and standards

• Oversee and coordinate the work of junior engineers and technicians

• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure successful project outcomes

• Contribute to business development and help grow client relationships

• Support the strategic direction of the practice, with opportunities for progression to a leadership position

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng / BEng)

• Chartered or near-Chartered status (MICE / MIStructE)

• Strong technical expertise in building structures (steel, concrete, timber, masonry)

• Proven track record in project delivery and client liaison

• Excellent communication, leadership, and teamworking skills

• Commercial awareness with an eye for detail and innovation
