As a Senior Associate / Legal Director - Property Damage, you will engage in a wide range of activities.Manage your own caseload of property related claimsUnderstand client requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and best practiceAnalyse risk and justify decisions to clients internally and externallyPrioritise work effectively and maximise efficiency in working practicesUnderstand your role in the context of the practice group and pro-actively seek to contribute to increased efficiency in developing a case load appropriate to level of technical, legal knowledgeBuild working relationships internally and externally to develop business networks and create a solid understanding of the Firm''s direction and client needsProvide support and act as the "go to person" for more junior members in the teamWe are committed to ensuring that each member of our team feels valued and duly rewarded during their time at DWF.Qualifications and Experience

5 years PQE experience and a strong interest in property damage workPrior experience handling an insurance property related caseload, including experience in third party property damage, product liability, policy coverage and subrogated recoveriesTechnical expertise and a strong interest in Commercial Insurance matters generallyA proven track record of delivering results within strict deadlines and timeframesDesirable

The ability to communicate and manage often complex issues for both internal and external stakeholdersA self-motivated individual who can also effectively coach and develop others within the teamRole Details

Our Commercial Insurance team at DWF are currently hiring for a Senior Associate / Legal Director - Property Damage to join the team in Manchester.The Commercial Insurance team work with a prestigious client base and handle a varied caseload of complex insurance property related disputes including first party property damage (FPPD), third party property damage (TPPD), product liability, policy coverage and subrogated recoveries.The role is hybrid, and we would expect the successful individual to work 1 day per week from our Manchester office.DWF is a leading global provider of integrated legal and business services.
