Senior / Associate Electrical Design Engineer (Building Services) to join a premium global engineering consultancy in either the Glasgow or Edinburgh offices. This role supports services from MandE design, dilapidations, commissioning, technical due diligence and compliance. Building types are varied and include Offices, Data Centres, Schools, Healthcare and more. The company is a reputable brand with a modern office and workplace culture.Role

Understand project briefs and design and specify Electrical Building Services systems, including power, earthing, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, and lightning protection.Produce detailed calculations using industry-standard software (e.g., Excel, Dialux, Amtech, in-house tools) and manage others in this process.Represent the organisation at meetings with clients and contractors.Conduct site surveys, inspections and monitor site works.Prepare reports and technical notes; maintain complete records and archives to company standards.Adhere to quality, environmental and governance processes.Prepare fee proposals.Qualifications / Experience

Degree qualified, or equivalent, in Building Services Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related subjects.Chartered Engineer with CIBSE or IET or working towards this.Good level of computer literacy in CAD, Amtech, Relux, and Microsoft packages.Experience working in a design consultancy and/or contractor design environment is essential.Knowledge of appropriate technical standards is required.Benefits
