  • Legal & Statutory Compliance: Ensure all actions, documentation and responses comply with the SEND Code of Practice, tribunal procedures and relevant statutory timescales.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Work closely with parents and carers, legal representatives, schools, professionals and internal teams to manage complex and sensitive disputes professionally.
  • Advice & Guidance: Provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues on SEND tribunal and mediation processes, helping to support consistent and lawful decision-making.
  • Record Keeping & Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive case records, track outcomes and identify learning points to contribute to service improvement and accountability.
About You

You will have a strong understanding of SEND legislation, tribunal procedures and mediation processes, together with the ability to manage complex cases sensitively and effectively.

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and SEND Tribunal procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing complex, sensitive or contentious cases.

  • The ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
What We Offer
  • Fully remote working
  • A role with significant responsibility and variety
  • The opportunity to contribute to positive outcomes for children, young people and families
  • A collaborative and supportive working environment
  • The opportunity to use your SEND, legal and dispute-resolution expertise in a specialist role
