About the Role

A Senior Architectural Technologist role has arisen in Birmingham, offering £38,000 to £48,000 per annum depending on experience. This full-time position sits within an architectural consultancy in the city centre, working across education, healthcare, leisure, industrial, commercial, heritage and residential sectors. The practice holds significant healthcare expertise, so relevant background is desirable though not essential. Joining a medium-sized team of thirty, the successful candidate will lead and manage schemes through every RIBA stage, driving technical delivery from concept to completion. Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction detailing and project coordination is required, alongside the ability to guide less experienced colleagues. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is expected for this permanent post.

Opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join an Architectural consultancy in the centre of Birmingham.
Working across a variety of project sectors to include education, healthcare, leisure, industrial and commercial, heritage and residential. The practice have a large amount of healthcare work and specialists in this area, therefore experience in healthcare would be desirable however not essential.
You will join a medium size team of 30 working across a variety of projects leading and managing the projects through all RIBA stages.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical delivery of projects from concept through to completion
  • Liaising Clients to understand their business goals
  • Working towards the latest building regulations and technical standards
  • Managing planning applications, and building regulations
  • Solving any issues that may arise
  • Working towards fixed budgets and times deadlines
  • Assist on planning applications and appeals
  • Visit site for inspections
  • Assist in business development
  • Develop detailed Revit modes and drawing packages

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification within Architecture
  • Strong design and technical skills
  • Revit is essential
  • UK Based experience with a minimum of 5 years in practice experience
