Senior Architectural Technologist

Excellent opportunity here for a Senior Architectural Technologist with a proven record in the Residential sector, to join a small Architectural practice in Leicester, East Midlands, that have plans for growth in the back end of 2025.

The practice are made up of a small, yet hugely dedicated team of Architectural professionals, and can boast an enviable client portfolio within the Residential sector. Due to significant project wins and in order to facilitate further growth in the practice, there is now an opportunity for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join the team.

As a Senior Architectural Technologist in this position, you will be heavily involved in most stages of the construction/design cycle within the Residential sector. It would be highly beneficial for the Senior Architectural Technologist applying to this position to have worked within a housebuilder, or have worked for an architectural practice that works closely with housebuilders. The volume housebuilder industry is fast paced and can be high pressured, so as a Senior Architectural Technologist applying to this position, you must feel comfortable working and thriving under these conditions.

Long term, the practice are looking to grow further while maintaining a core team of dedicated individuals. This position will suit a Senior Architectural Technologist that is looking to grow and be within the business for the next 5-10 years. You will be rewarded for your loyalty with continued development, progression opportunities, and the scope to work on an excellent array of projects within the residential sector.

Key requirements of the Senior Architectural Technologist as follows:

• Architectural Technology degree or equivalent (UK recognised)
• 7-10+ years of industry experience, with a large majority of that being within the Residential sector, specifically volume housebuilding.
• Experience and confidence of operating within a client facing role.
• Full proficiency in the use of AutoCAD.
• Sound knowledge of UK building regs.

The successful Senior Architectural Technologist will be offered a starting salary in the region of -42,00050,000 dependant on experience, alongside a competitive benefits package.
