Location: Oxford

Salary: -40-46,000

We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Architect with a passion for building conservation to join a friendly, RIBA-chartered practice in Oxford. With a strong focus on sustainability and historic buildings, this practice takes pride in revitalizing structures through innovative and thoughtful design.

As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in preserving and enhancing historic buildings while leading projects from concept to completion. You should have substantial UK-based, post-Part 3 experience and ideally have experience managing a small team. Your design flair and technical expertise will be essential, along with strong knowledge of AutoCAD.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Senior Architect:

  • Member of ARB
  • Significant UK-based post Part 3 experience
  • Passion for building conservation
  • Managing a small team and developing their skills
  • Managing budgets and projects
  • Experience in contract management and contract administration
  • Knowledge of historic building conservation, maintenance and repair
  • Full, clean driving licence and access to a car
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
