This is not your typical architectural role. Instead of producing detailed design packages from start to finish, you''ll act as a trusted technical advisor on behalf of the client, reviewing contractor proposals, preparing tender documentation and ensuring projects meet the required Building Regulations, British Standards and technical performance criteria.Working closely with the Ministry of Justice, you''ll play a key role in the delivery of prison and court developments, with a secured pipeline of work for the next five years.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of architecture, is confident dealing directly with clients and contractors, and wants to take ownership of projects within a unique and rewarding environment.ResponsibilitiesPreparing technical briefs, tender documentation and performance specificationsReviewing contractor proposals and technical design informationProducing concept and tender stage drawing packages where requiredUndertaking site visits and inspections across the South EastActing as the technical representative for the client throughout ..... full job details .....
