Senior Architectural Technician

C&P Recruitment has partnered with an award-winning house builder with multiple offices throughout the UK. Due to their consistent workload they are looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will come from a housebuilding background and be able to join the existing team seamlessly.
Job summary
The Senior Architectural Technologist will take on a leading role on large multi-unit residential projects in Scotland. You will work with the design and project management teams across the life of the project providing ongoing support and accurate architectural and technical information.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Develop and maintain divisional details and specifications
-Work alongside external consultants and suppliers to ensure complete design solutions delivered in in line with company standards
-Keep up to date
-Support site teams and colleagues with information requests
-Attend site-based meetings / audits as and when required
-Support, mentor and manage Trainee and Graduate Technicians
What we are looking for:
-Relevant degree or qualifications
-Experience working in the housebuilding industry in a similar position
-Familiarity with Scottish building regulations
-Experience working with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
-Strong attention to detail and communication skills
