Senior Architectural Technician

Conrad Consulting are currently in partnership with an AJ100 practice, seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join their regional office in Birmingham, West Midlands. 

The practice have become a prominent force in the architectural industry throughout the UK and internationally, with offices in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. Featuring consistently in the AJ100, the practice prides itself on developing and supporting their Architectural employees to realise their full potential.

Due to an increase in work load, the Birmingham office are now seeking an Architectural Technican with approx. 10 years of post qualification experience to join their talented and ambitious team. You will be presented with the opportunity to work on highly notable projects, in areas such as; Healthcare, Education, Residential and Commercial schemes. You will also run projects of your own while leading a small team of Architectural Assistants/Technicians.

The practice have embraced the hybrid working model and are currently running a split of 3 days in the office and 2 from home. Mondays and Thursdays are "core days" in the office, with the 3rd being a day of your choosing.

Revit software is used throughout the practice, so at least 2 years experience of using Revit is essential when applying to this position.

A summary of requirements of the Senior Architectural Technician include the following:

• Approx. 10 years post-qualification experience
• Demonstrable experience in leading or assisting with the delivery of production packages
• Proficient in Revit with at least two years’ continual use in practice as the primary design/delivery tool
• Confident and enthusiastic
• Experience of working across various sectors, with particular focus on Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Mixed Use projects would be ideal

In return, the Senior Architectural Technician will be offered a salary in the region of £37,500-£45,000 (dependant on experience), alongside a competitive benefits package.
