We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join a well-established architectural practice based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and forward-thinking studio with a strong pipeline of work across a range of sectors.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and the wider design team. You will also have the opportunity to lead projects, support junior team members, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of projects across multiple sectors and project stages
- Develop high-quality architectural proposals from concept through to technical delivery
- Produce and review detailed design information using Revit and AutoCAD
- Take responsibility for project coordination and technical delivery
- Act as Lead Designer or Principal Designer where appropriate, ensuring compliance with the Building Safety Act and UK Building Regulations
- Manage coordination between clients, contractors, consultants, and the wider design team
- Attend and lead design and project meetings with key stakeholders
- Provide design direction, technical guidance, and mentorship to junior team members
- Support project teams with technical problem-solving and design development
- Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality, programme, budget, and regulatory standards
Requirements for the Senior Architect:
- ARB registration and/or RIBA qualification is preferred
- Significant post-qualification experience within a UK architectural practice
- Proven experience working in a Senior Architect or similar role
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential
- Excellent knowledge of UK Building Regulations and associated standards
- Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act and current regulatory requirements
- Proven experience leading projects and coordinating multidisciplinary design teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Portfolio demonstrating strong design, technical delivery, and project leadership experience
