Senior Architect

My client, a London-based luxury interior architecture and design studio delivering high-end residential and commercial projects, are looking for a top-tier architect with extensive experience, ideally from well-known studios, who have led high-end residential and commercial projects in the UK. Professionals who can take full ownership of projects, from concept through construction, and bring strong design leadership to our team.

The ideal candidate will be confident managing projects from concept through planning and technical design to construction delivery.

You will work closely with our interior design team, consultants, and contractors to deliver projects to the highest design and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from concept design through to construction
• Prepare and manage planning applications and technical documentation
• Ensure compliance with UK planning regulations and building regulations
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Collaborate with our interior design team on integrated architecture and interior design solutions
• Attend client meetings and present architectural proposals
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards
• Oversee technical drawings and documentation

Requirements

• RIBA Part III qualified and Chartered Architect with the Royal Institute of British Architects
• 8-10+ years of professional architectural experience in the UK
• Proven experience in both residential and commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of UK planning processes and building regulations
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, with knowledge of BIM workflows and 3D visualization tools such as Rhino, Lumion, or Enscape
• Excellent design and technical skills
• Strong communication and client presentation abilities
• Ability to manage projects independently
