Senior Architect

Senior Architect required by award-winning multidisciplinary design consultancy, with a clear pathway to head the Architecture department within 18 months.

Conrad Consulting is working with a thriving, well-established design and construction management consultancy based in Hertfordshire to appoint a Senior Architect to their close-knit Architecture team. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious Senior Architect to take on a leadership role now, with a defined route to running the department within 18 months.

Off the back of a highly productive year delivering technically complex projects, the firm has a strong pipeline of work across a broad client base, with a particular focus on scientific, research and manufacturing facilities. As new projects continue to land, they're growing the Architecture team to match.

You'll take the lead on projects and manage a team, while staying hands-on with day-to-day design work and leading by example. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in the Pharmaceutical, Laboratory or Manufacturing sectors, though those from a Commercial Industrial background will also be considered if willing to get up to speed on the relevant regulations.

The consultancy takes a forward-thinking approach to technology, so confidence with BIM and Revit is preferred – training is available for candidates who meet the other criteria.

Senior Architect Requirements:

• ARB/RIBA Chartered Architect
• 10 years' UK industry experience post-qualification
• Proven experience on highly technical design projects
• Strong team management skills
• Familiarity with BIM and Revit
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Confident client-facing skills, including presentations and meetings
