Role: Senior Architect(Civil)Location: PlymouthDuration: 12 monthsRate: depends on experienceInside IR35: Umbrella PurposeThe Major Infrastructure Projects directorate provides major new or upgraded dock, berth and building infrastructure projects to provide facilities for the ship and submarine sustainment programmes. As an Architect or Senior Architect you''ll work with multi-discipline infrastructure system designs to provide an overall sustainment capability.Using your experience in facility upgrade and buildings designs you will manage and review the design packages by subconsultants and work with users and other stakeholders to ensure that the integrated facility provides the sustainment capability. You will use your Architectural expertise to ensure the end product meets the technical and operational requirements of the facility.Supporting the delivery of the Architectural aspects of the Facility designs. Ensure systems are designed against a clear statement of compliance with defined requirements, including demonstration that the design meets relevant HSE requirements. Support the delivery of Architectural work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule and cost.ResponsibilitiesSupporting the management of the Architectural elements of the Extant Facility Subways (Both Extant Subways and Southern Services) upgrade, ensuring designer technical performance and making appropriate technical responses.
