Senior Angular/C# Developer - Commodities/Shipping sought by leading financial services organisation based in West London.

**Outside IR35 - 3 days a week on site**

SUMMARYThis role will suit a full-stack developer, with a broad, yet modern skill set and a proven track record, who ideally has some knowledge and experience of the commodity or financial trading sectors.

Key Responsibilities:Full stack developer with around 8-10 years development experience, working in a agile development team to deliver robust enterprise-wide solutions utilising industry standard practicesDesign, develop, enhance and maintain applications using agreed coding standards and quality targets.Ensure quality via code reviews and thorough unit testing.Liaise with immediate scrum team, other scrum/project teams, line manager and development lead to ensure accurate and complete delivery.Contribute to the development and implementation of software development best practices within the organisation.Writing clean and efficient code using relevant programming languages to implement the designed features and functionality.

Key Competencies and Skills:Knowledge of oil, wet bulk or energy trading and risk management businessSoftware Development Methodologies: Understanding of Agile development practices and project management toolsCommunication Skills: Effective communication to collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and explain technical conceptsProblem-solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and identify creative solutionsExperience and expertise with the following technical stackAngular 13+ with DevExtreme UI library desirablePlaywright, ReadyAPI and Specflow.Jira, Github, ConfluencNice to have -C# and .NET6+Rest API''s and Microservice architectureSQL Server Database, NHibernate or Entity Framework

Demonstrate expertise of:Building modern-web applicationsModern UI design principles. i.e. Able to take initial design direction and interpret those guidelines to finalise the design through to a solutionRestful API Design and development fundamentalsGood SQL knowledgeTest case preparation and execution

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS8-10 years'' experience designing and developing applications both individually and as part of a teamFamiliarity with energy or financial trading environmentStrong inter-personal and communication skills (both verbal and written)Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to technical problemsExperience of working in an Agile/Scrum team environmentEducated to Degree-level (or equivalent), as a minimum requirement
