Senior AIT Technician - Space IndustryLocation: Didcot, Oxfordshire Type: Permanent, Full-time Salary: 35,000 - 45,000An established space industry organisation is seeking a Senior AIT Technician to support the assembly, integration, and testing of advanced space hardware.Key Responsibilities:Mechanical and electrical assembly and integrationWiring, cable harnessing, soldering, and reworkReading and working from technical drawings and schematicsTesting, fault-finding, and issue troubleshootingCompleting technical documentation and test recordsMaintaining cleanroom and ESD-safe working environmentsSupporting continuous improvement activitiesRequirements:ONC/HNC/NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience) in Engineering5-10 years'' experience in assembly, integration, or test (aerospace, space, defence, or electronics preferred)Strong hands-on electrical skillsAbility to work independently with high attention to detailKnowledge of ESD, cleanroom, and health and safety practicesFibre optics experience desirableAdditional Information:BPSS security clearance required (right to work, ID, employment history, basic DBS)This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge space programmes within a growing UK-based team. ..... full job details .....
