Are you an experienced Air Quality Consultant ready to take the next step in your career? A leading environmental consultancy is seeking a Senior Air Quality Consultant to join its team in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a senior position where you''ll lead technical delivery, guide and mentor junior consultants, and build lasting relationships.
What You''ll Do
As a Senior Air Quality Consultant, you''ll take the lead on a variety of air quality assessments, dispersion modelling, and regulatory compliance projects. You''ll collaborate closely with developers, planners, and local authorities, delivering high-quality reports and contributing to the continued growth and success of the Chester office.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver air quality consultancy projects across multiple sectors
Undertake dispersion modelling and review technical assessments
Produce clear, accurate reports, ES chapters, and client presentations
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Mentor and support junior team members
Contribute to business development and proposal writing
What We''re Looking For
Minimum 4 years'' experience in air quality consultancy or regulation
Proficiency with ADMS and AERMOD, with a strong understanding of IAQM/EPUK guidance
Degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Geography, or a related discipline
Chartered status (CEnv/IAQM) or working towards (desirable)
Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills
Full UK driving licence
