Senior AI Engineer

We are partnering with an established organisation currently investing significantly in its AI and generative search capabilities. They are looking to appoint a Senior AI Engineer to play a key role in designing and delivering production-grade AI systems focused on accuracy, scalability, and real-world impact. This position sits within a growing AI function and will focus heavily on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agentic workflows, evaluation frameworks, and LLM optimisation. Key Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable RAG pipelines and generative AI workflowsBuild solutions using LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndexImplement retrieval strategies including reranking, chunking, and retrieval fusionDevelop agentic workflows with a focus on robustness and maintainabilityContribute to experimentation, evaluation, and AI quality frameworksSupport fine-tuning, instruction tuning, and model optimisation initiativesMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical best practices Key Requirements:Strong Python engineering experienceCommercial experience building production-grade AI/ML systemsHands-on experience with RAG architectures and LLM workflowsExperience with LangChain, LangGraph, and/or Llama IndexUnderstanding of evaluation methodologies for generative AIExperience working within scalable cloud environments (AWS preferred)Ability to operate in a senior or technical leadership capacity Desirable:Graph-RAG experienceDatabricks exposureExperience deploying ..... full job details .....
