The Developer AI team is on a mission to supercharge the productivity, creativity, and satisfaction of our engineering teams by embedding AI capabilities into internal developer tools and workflows. We build smart assistants, automation systems, and intelligent insights that redefine the software development lifecycle.The Role

Within the JET platform engineering department we are looking for someone who can help us create an exceptional developer experience and elevate our developer platform.The one who can swim fast, react and adapt. If you are up to date with the latest technology and a person who gets things done, we are looking for you.Key responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable AI-powered developer tools and servicesCollaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other engineers to define technical solutionsIntegrate LLMs (like OpenAI, Claude, or open-source alternatives) into developer workflowsExperience building Agentic AI solutions in production environmentsExperiment with prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and fine-tuning techniquesDrive initiatives to improve developer velocity, quality, and satisfactionConduct code reviews and provide technical mentorshipStay current with advances in AI, developer tooling, and software engineering best practicesWhat will you bring to the table?

Must-Haves:Strong experience in software engineering, ideally in backend or full-stack rolesProficiency in languages: Python, C#, or JavaExperience with AWS and containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with REST/gRPC APIs and event-driven systemsExposure to LLM APIs, vector databases, and basic ML conceptsStrong communication and collaboration skillsPassion for developer experience and building tools that engineers loveNice-to-Haves:Hands-on experience with OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, or similar frameworksBackground in AWS AI ecosystem and tools like BedrockExperience with GitHub Copilot or similarContributions to open-source developer tools or AI projectsAt JET, this is on the menu
