Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be hiring on behalf of a leading, specialist acoustics consultancy for an experienced Senior Acoustics Consultant to join their growing team.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering expert acoustics solutions while managing your own projects from inception through to completion. You''ll play a key role in both technical delivery and client relationship management, with the opportunity to mentor junior team members and contribute to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting site visits, noise measurements, and technical acoustic assessments
• Producing high-quality reports and delivering expert advice to clients
• Managing projects independently, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
• Attending and presenting at client meetings
• Supporting and mentoring junior consultants
• Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat and new business
• Managing financial aspects including fee proposals and invoicing
• Maintaining and developing your technical expertise

About You

• 3-5 years'' experience within the acoustic consultancy industry
• Degree qualified (BSc/BEng or similar, 2:1 or above preferred)
• Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (or working towards)
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
• Commercially aware with experience managing project finances
• Proven ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
• Full UK driving licence
