Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be hiring on behalf of a leading, specialist acoustics consultancy for an experienced Senior Acoustics Consultant to join their growing team.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering expert acoustics solutions while managing your own projects from inception through to completion. You''ll play a key role in both technical delivery and client relationship management, with the opportunity to mentor junior team members and contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting site visits, noise measurements, and technical acoustic assessments
- Producing high-quality reports and delivering expert advice to clients
- Managing projects independently, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Attending and presenting at client meetings
- Supporting and mentoring junior consultants
- Building strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for repeat and new business
- Managing financial aspects including fee proposals and invoicing
- Maintaining and developing your technical expertise
About You
- 3-5 years'' experience within the acoustic consultancy industry
- Degree qualified (BSc/BEng or similar, 2:1 or above preferred)
- Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (or working towards)
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Commercially aware with experience managing project finances
- Proven ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
- Full UK driving licence
You''ll also be collaborative, proactive, and personable, with the confidence to represent the company in client-facing environments.
