Senior Accounts and Tax Manager Permanent Liverpool City Centre up to £45k D.O.EWorking as Senior Accounts and Tax Manager, and reporting into the Directors. You will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships and individuals. Will also be required to carry out preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns, so knowledge and experience of this will also be required. Will also be responsible for the management of junior and other staff members, so the ability to delegate and review work is essential. Hours are 9.00 to 5.00 Monday - Friday with 1 hour for lunch.Duties to include:Provide end-to-end business management services to clients, including bookkeeping, cash flow management, payment processing, and financial oversight.Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant reporting and disclosure requirements.Coordinate tax filings and maintain regulatory compliance for client entities.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day financial operations and delivering tailored advice.Oversee and execute banking transactions and client payment schedules in a secure and timely manner.Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest professional and ethical standards in all interactionsCorporation Tax computations and Returns.VAT Returns.Company Secretarial dutiesPreparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships.Requirements :Experience in an accountancy practice minimum of 5 years required.Accuracy and attention to detail.Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.Ability to speak with and advise clients.Knowledge of current accounts and tax legislation.Knowledge of CCH would be preferable, although not essential.Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage is required.Company Benefits:Bright Exchange, Employee Assistance ProgramCompany Auto Enrolment Pension SchemeAdditional day leave on BirthdayFor further information about this opportunity please call Lisa or Emma at Forrest Recruitment for a confidential discussion 0151 255 0565.
