A leading organisation in Manchester City Centre is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join their Global Finance Services team. This 6-9 month contract role offers you the chance to become a trusted expert within the Procure To Payment (PTP) function, where your operational knowledge and analytical skills will be highly valued. As a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist based in Manchester City Centre, you will immerse yourself in the day-to-day operations of the Global Finance Services team. Your responsibilities will span from resolving complex invoice issues to supporting process transitions across multiple entities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams-finance colleagues, procurement specialists, technology experts-to drive improvements in Procure To Payment operations. By analysing operational data and identifying root causes of recurring problems, you will recommend actionable solutions that enhance efficiency. Your role also involves supporting reconciliation activities during period-end reporting cycles and contributing to automation initiatives that reduce manual effort.
