Senior Accounts Payable SpecialistLocation: North BristolSalary: Competitive + BenefitsThe OpportunityWe''re recruiting for an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join a growing finance team based in North Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong end-to-end purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in driving an efficient AP function.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end accounts payable process.Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.Prepare and process weekly and monthly payment runs.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve supplier queries.Support month-end activities, including reconciliations and reporting.Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Ensure compliance with company policies and financial controls.Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency.Support and mentor junior members of the finance team.Assist with audits and ad hoc finance projects.About YouPrevious experience in a Senior Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role.Strong understanding of the end-to-end AP process.Experience working with ERP/accounting systems.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Confident communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships.Able to manage workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Experience supporting or mentoring ..... full job details .....
