Senior Accounts Manager

About the Role Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Manager to manage a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients. This is a senior practice role with responsibility for client relationships, technical review, team management, workflow coordination, corporation tax compliance and billing. The successful candidate will report directly to the Partners and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice. Our Client an Accountancy Firm is a partner-led firm providing audit, tax, transaction and advisory services to entrepreneurial and owner-managed businesses. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients and act as the main point of contact. Review statutory accounts and corporation tax returns. Supervise, mentor and develop junior team members. Coordinate workflow and ensure timely delivery of assignments. Resolve technical accounting and tax matters. Monitor WIP, recoverability and oversee billing. Support Partners in maintaining excellent client service standards. Candidate Profile ACA or ACCA qualified. Strong UK practice background. Proven management experience, including staff supervision and workflow management. Experience reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax computations. Commercially minded with strong client-facing skills. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Important Audit experience is not required. This is an accounts and tax focused role.
