Senior Accounts Assistant

We are working with a specialist property finance company based in North London, focused on delivering bespoke funding solutions across a varied property portfolio. As a result of continued expansion, they are now seeking an experienced and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their growing team.As an Accounts Assistant you will play a key role in supporting the finance function and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of accounts.Key Responsibilities:Bank reconciliations across multiple accountsBookkeeping and posting journal entries using double-entry bookkeeping principlesManaging daily payment runs and processing paymentsMonitoring and allocating receivablesSupporting credit control activities and reportingPreparing portfolio statements for fundersDrafting mortgage and repayment statements for borrowersManaging the accounts inbox and resolving queriesMaintaining accurate financial records and documentationKey Requirements:3 years+ experience in an accounts or finance role, within property finance (bridging, buy-to-let, residential, or commercial lending)Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeepingExperience with accounts payable and receivableFamiliarity with accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooksStrong numerical and analytical skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Recognised accounting or bookkeeping qualification (e.g. AAT) is essential.If you are an experienced Accounts Assistant looking to join a growing and dynamic business, we encourage you to apply ..... full job details .....
