Senior Accounts Assistant

Location: Alcester (B49) | Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 | Sector: Manufacturing

The Role

We are looking for a "safe pair of hands" to manage our transactional finance. This is a senior, hands-on position focused on high-level ledger control and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounts Payable (Lead): Manage end-to-end AP, including complex staged payments and deposits.

  • SAP Migration: Play a key role in the upcoming move to SAP S4 HANA.

  • Ledger Oversight: Handle AR duties, intercompany transactions, and daily banking.

  • Digital Expenses: Lead the transition to our new ‘Expenses In’ platform.

  • Communication: Act as a "people person" to ensure timely expense submissions from site teams.

What You Need

  • Experience: Strong background in transactional finance (QBE or AAT).

  • Systems: SAP experience is a massive advantage.

  • Industry: Experience in Manufacturing or project-based finance is highly desirable.

  • Mindset: A positive, flexible problem-solver who hits the ground running.
