Our client has a team of seven accountants and, due to continued growth, is looking for an additional Senior Accountant to join the business. Duties include: Managing a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies . Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements . Bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations . Preparing VAT and tax returns . Supporting with salaries and dividends . Providing clients with accounting and tax guidance. Monitoring client cash positions and providing financial advice. Building strong, long-term client relationships. Managing workloads and ensuring deadlines are met. Experience required: 2+ years'' experience within an accountancy practice . Experience working with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Experience preparing accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns. Good knowledge of UK accounting and tax compliance.
