Interim Senior Accountant (6-9 Month Fixed Term Contract) - BelfastLocation: Belfast Salary: £70,000 per annum (pro rata) Duration: 6-9 Months Start Date: Immediate!We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Financial Controller/Senior Accountant to join our client''s Belfast-based finance team on an urgent interim basis for a period of 6-9 months.Working closely with the Finance Director, you will play a key role in supporting the business through a critical period of external audit activity and strategic finance projects. This is a hands-on position requiring a proactive professional who can quickly integrate into the organisation and deliver results from day one.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Finance Director throughout the annual audit process.Lead audit preparation and coordinate responses to auditor queries.Deliver and support key finance transformation and business improvement projects.Oversee financial controls, reporting, and compliance activities.Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team where required.Ensure accurate and timely financial information is available to stakeholders.Candidate RequirementsFully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance leadership role.Strong audit management and project delivery experience.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Ability to work independently and hit the ground running.Immediately available or available at ..... full job details .....
