You will deliver accounting, tax, and advisory services, work closely with leadership, and support both clients and junior team members. The role suits someone who enjoys working directly with business owners and contributing to a modern, growth-focused practice.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Management and AdvisoryManage and build relationships with SME clientsProvide financial insights, business advice, and supportAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and reportingCommunicate with HMRC, banks, and other stakeholdersAccounts and TaxPrepare/review statutory accounts (FRS 102/105)Prepare corporation tax returns and management accountsReview VAT and ensure compliance and deadlines are metTeam SupportReview junior team work and provide mentoringAssist with workflow, training, and developmentSystems and ProcessesUse cloud tools such as Xero and DextImprove systems, processes, and efficienciesComplianceSupport Companies House filings and onboarding processesEnsure GDPR and regulatory complianceSkills and ExperienceEssentialACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)Practice experience with SME clientsStrong knowledge of accounts, tax, and VATExperience with Xero and cloud systemsExcellent communication ..... full job details .....
